     December 2, 2005
Getting ready. Everyone wash your hands?
(Rita is banker of the white frosting.)
Joanne get things rolling with a withdrawal from the white frosting bank. Rita obseres the transaction.
Rita holds the foundation while the stonemason         sets the cement (frosting that is.)
Sharon checks the blueprints  and makes the first inspection for adequate mortar*.
Joanne has a problem. The mortar has dried on her  finger. (that white cement * is REALLY sticky stuff! )
Put your finger over here. I'll lick it clean.!...             /
Joanne decides to soak her finger in water to                      soften the hardened mortar* .
Rita and Joanne are mixing up another batch of mortar*  using a century old formula of exotic colors
Joanne asks Sharon to call the Emergency Rescue Squad. Her finger got stuck to the gingerbread house
Cleanliness and tidyness counts extra here    at Gingerbread House Making 101
How's this for a masterpiece?  Joanne's team gets extra points for being able to patch a crack in the wall
Just a little dab here will do it.  Give me another pound of that green mortar *

I'm first in line to lick the bowls ands spoons...so don't get in my way or buck the line!
Oh golly !  Just look at all those life savers and chocolate coins and candy and icing and gingerbread and, and , please give me some!!!
I hope they get done soon so I can get off this line and help licking er, cleaning up.
Ahh. Gingerbread...my favorite snack !!
* The term "mortar" or "cement"  is synonymous with sugar icing.
